Pot size 10 cm. Plant size including pot 20 cm.

  • Euphorbia lactea thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. It can tolerate some direct sun, but too much may lead to sunburn or scorching of the plant’s delicate stems.
  • If grown indoors, place it near a south or west-facing window for optimal light. If outdoors, it enjoys bright, filtered sunlight or light shade.
  • Euphorbia lactea is a succulent, so it doesn’t need much water. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, especially during the winter months when the plant’s growth slows.
  • Overwatering is a common issue, so be sure your pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. Water it lightly during the warmer months (spring and summer) and reduce watering in cooler months.
  • Use well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix, to ensure water doesn’t sit around the roots. Adding perlite or sand can further improve drainage.
  • Euphorbia lactea prefers warm temperatures between 65°F to 85°F (18°C to 29°C) and should be kept in a place free from drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations. Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C), as this can cause damage.
