• Sedum nussbaumerianum thrives in bright, direct sunlight. The plant's coppery-orange leaves develop their best color under full sun. Ideally, place it in a south- or west-facing window for indoor growth.
• If grown outdoors, it prefers a sunny spot, though it can tolerate some light shade.
• Like most succulents, Sedum nussbaumerianum does not like to be overwatered. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, but make sure the pot has good drainage to avoid root rot.
• During the growing season (spring and summer), water more frequently, but in the fall and winter, reduce watering as the plant becomes dormant.
• Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix to ensure proper root health. You can add sand or perlite to improve drainage further.
• Sedum nussbaumerianum prefers warm temperatures between 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C). It can tolerate a range of temperatures, but avoid exposure to cold drafts or temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
